MENINGKATKAN PENGEMBANGAN DIRI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM (PAI) SEBAGAI IMPLEMENTASI TEORI DINAMIS-PROGRESIF DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


This paper tries to reveal why PAI teachers do not have the will to develop hemselves. PAI teachers not only fulfill the teaching obligation, but also must have good self-quality and wish to advance. But until now there are still many PAI teachers who do not want to develop and resign themselves to the situation. As
a result, the results of education have not progressed. Students who are supposed to think ahead, become infected by the teacher’s attitude which is resigned and does not want to develop. From this research it was found that the biggest cause of the attitude of teachers who do not want to develop themselves is there is no desire to continue learning. Based on these findings, researchers used a dynamic-progressive theory to improve the self-development of PAI teachers who would later change the mindset of PAI teachers to continue learning and developing.
